Unlike most commercially available soaps (or "beauty bars"), the soaps offered here are handmade using the cold process method, cured for at least 3 weeks, and hand cut to create one delicious slice after another. The cold process method also creates a bar rich in naturally occuring glycerin (most commercially available soaps are stripped of their moisturizing glycerin content).

We feature brands such as Country Rose Soap Co (from B.C., Canada, Susan custom crafts soaps using herbs from her own organic gardens) and Molly Artisanal Soap (each slice is like a work of art!).

All bars are vegetable-based (but some do have goat's milk for its skin soothing properties, and some contain beeswax to create a longer-lasting bar). Any coloring in the bar is made from herbal ingredients or mineral pigments. No dyes!
