About Wild Sage Botanicals' Shea Butter: Garima selects pure, unrefined Nilotica Shea Butter from The Shea Project in Uganda. The Shea nuts are gathered, butter manually extracted, and water-based clarification processed by women's farming co-operatives. No fertilizers or agricultural chemicals are used, and no solvents are used in extraction. Proceeds from the sale of the butter go toward conserving savanna woodland biodiversity, and support the women who produce it.
